  • Are you and/or your teammates from NUS?
  • Is your tabletop game playable and/or has it been submitted to the designated platform/folder?
    • For digital tabletop games: Is your game playable online/PCs?
    • For physical tabletop games: Have you neatly organized your submission in the designated folder?
  • Does your tabletop game contain any copyrighted material? Does it contain any vulgarities or obscenities, or anything that might be offensive to a particular demographic group? (Tip: if you are unsure, please check with any of the organisers)
  • Does your tabletop game have sufficient art and text to guide the way the player would experience your game?
  • Does your game’s story make sense? Is the narrative logical?
  • Are there any major flaws in game design that would prevent the player from completing the game?
  • Has your tabletop game been playtested before submission?

The key dates are as follows:

  • Registration: Now to 17 Jun
  • Launch date & Theme Reveal: 20 Jun
  • Workshop dates: 20 Jun (1 & 2), 21 Jun (3)
  • Submission deadline: 30 Jun, 5 PM
  • Showcase: 1 Jul
  • Judging: 2 Jul onwards

Aspects you would need to consider for this event include (i) game design, (ii) art, (iii) narrative writing, and (iv) knowledge on healthy intimate relationships.

It is completely fine if you are not formerly trained in any of these. There will be workshops to introduce you to the relevant knowledge and skills. There will also be mentors that can guide you along the way.

Each team must comprise of 2 to 5 members.

Please ensure that your game attends to the subject matter respectfully and sensitively. It should also not contain vulgarities and obscenities, or anything that might be offensive to persons of a particular demographic group.

  • If it is a digital tabletop game, ensure that you have uploaded your online. This allows others to test your game.
  • Feel free to ask other jammers via the playtest channel on our Microsoft Teams page.

You can reach out to our friendly in-house advisors using your team’s private channel on Microsoft Teams. The advisors will be added to your team’s channel.

Any Advisor who is proficient in that subject matter and is available will see respond. Kindly also note that the Advisors will only be active between 10 AM to 5 PM on weekdays (except on public holidays).

Yes! The top team will receive an award worth $100 in total. Do note that prizes are not scaled to the size of your team.

The top team will also be eligible to further develop and publish their tabletop game.

Yes! Please also feel free to develop it further after the event has ended. The Game Jam committee only requests for the rights to promote it under our organisation and event.
